FLYFISHING

Directly behind the Inn is the "Flyfishing Only" section of the Trinity River. You'll find Brown Trout (both sea-run and resident), Steelhead (summer and winter runs) and summer and winter King Salmon.

Also, Lewiston Lake is five minutes down the road. It is actually a wide spot in the river with clear and constant cold flows and the same hatches which appear on the river proper. The lake has a large population of Rainbow and
Brook Trout and also a chance to land one of the huge resident browns.
Also, within a half-hour drive of our location are myriad streams and river branches that are not only incredibly scenic, but are lightly fished as well. Bring your fine, light tackle and have a blast on your own stream.

Flyfisherman can tie up the fly du jour at our well stocked fly-tying table.
